Most clients need a series of 6–8 sessions spaced four to six weeks apart. Results depend on hair thickness, color, and skin type; darker, coarser hair responds faster. Maintenance touch-ups may be recommended annually.

You may feel quick, mild snapping or warmth during pulses, often described as a rubber-band snap. Topical numbing and cooling systems reduce discomfort; most patients tolerate sessions without issues and return to normal activities immediately.

Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanning products for at least two weeks before treatment. Do not wax or pluck; shave the area one day prior. Discontinue harsh topical retinoids and inform us of medications or skin conditions.

Common temporary effects include redness, mild swelling, and follicular crusting that resolve within days. Rarely hyperpigmentation, hypopigmentation, or blistering can occur. Follow post-care closely and contact us if unusual pain, pus, or prolonged discoloration appears.

Initial shedding can occur one to three weeks after treatment, with visible thinning after a few sessions. Noticeable, long-term reduction typically appears after the full recommended series; individual timelines vary based on hair growth cycles.
