Frequently Asked Questions
Get answers to common questions about Chest HR Laser.
Most clients require six to eight sessions spaced four to six weeks apart to catch hairs in different growth phases. Your technician will recommend a personalized plan based on hair density, color, and skin type.
Discomfort is usually mild and often described as quick snapping or warming sensations. We use cooling systems and adjustable settings to minimize pain, making sessions tolerable for most clients with topical numbing available upon request.
Advanced lasers accommodate a wide range of skin tones, but safety depends on device settings and provider expertise. We perform consultations, evaluate skin tone and hair color, and may run a patch test to ensure safe, effective treatment.
Avoid sun exposure, tanning beds, and self-tanners for at least two weeks. Shave the chest 24 hours prior, skip waxing or plucking, and disclose medications or recent skin treatments during your consultation.
Keep the area clean and avoid hot showers, saunas, and heavy workouts for 24–48 hours. Use gentle cleansers, apply soothing aloe or recommended emollients, protect from sun with SPF, and avoid aggressive exfoliation until cleared.
You may notice hair shedding within one to three weeks, with visible reduction accumulating after successive sessions. Significant and lasting results typically appear after completing the recommended series, with maintenance sessions scheduled as needed.
